Who we are
ArtCraft Dental, Inc. ("ArtCraft Dental," "we," "us") is a Texas corporation that designs and sells dental instruments to licensed dental professionals. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit artcraftdental.com (the "Site"), buy from us, sign up for our emails, or meet us at a trade show or event.
Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, practice name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and order details when you buy from us, create an account, sign up for our emails, contact us, or leave a review. Payment card details are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site, using cookies and similar tools.
Information from events and partners. We may receive your contact details when you sign up at a trade show or event, buy at our booth, or register for a course or event we sponsor where you agreed to hear from sponsors.
How we use your information
- To process and ship orders, handle returns, and provide customer service
- To confirm that buyers are licensed dental or veterinary professionals
- To send order updates and other service messages
- To send marketing emails about new instruments, clinical tips and offers, if you have agreed to receive them
- To improve the Site, our products and our advertising
- To prevent fraud and comply with the law
Email marketing
You may join our email list at checkout, through a signup form on the Site, at a trade show, or through an event we sponsor. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing hello@artcraftdental.com. We will still send messages about your orders after you unsubscribe.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that run parts of our business for us, including our online store and point-of-sale platform (Shopify), email platform (Klaviyo), payment processors, shipping carriers, and accounting and payroll providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta, Google and LinkedIn, through the tools described under Cookies below.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or others.
- Business transfers: if ArtCraft Dental, Inc. or its assets are sold, merged, or transferred, customer information, including our email list, may be transferred to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy for that information.
Cookies and advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar tools to keep your cart and account working, understand how the Site is used, and show you relevant ads on other platforms. These include the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and advertising tags, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Meta, Google and LinkedIn accounts. Some parts of the Site may not work properly without cookies.
Keeping your information safe
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required for tax, accounting and legal reasons. Our providers store it on secure servers in the United States, and payment information is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. If you are in Canada, the United Kingdom or another country with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, and we will respond to your request as those laws require. Children
The Site is intended for dental professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
International customers
If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time.
